Lavender Bath Bomz

• 1 cup baking soda
• 1/3 cup citric acid
• 1/4 tsp. borax
• Witch Hazel in a fine mist sprayer
• Spray tin of cooking oil eg. "Pam"
• Small jello or soap making molds, even 2 piece plastic Easter eggs work. Muffin pans too.
• 6 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
• 1/2 tsp. dried, powdered lavender flowers (optional)

Method

1. In a large mixing bowl, mix baking soda and borax plus any powdered herbs or flowers. Sift 2 to 3 times.
2. Spritz with witch hazel; mix well, spritz and stir until mix is consistency of wet sand and will retain its shape if squeezed in a clenched hand.
3. Add citric acid (health food stores) and essential oils. Mix well again.
4. Spray or wipe mold lightly with cooking oil. Pack firmly with mix. Wait 5 mins. Gently turn over and tap onto paper towel surface. Let air dry 24 hours before wrapping or packaging. Keep moisture free.
